Hoffman Rezidence is a residential house reconstruction project in Riga, Latvia. The project building is located in a popular area - Klīversala, by the Daugava embankment, which offers a panoramic view of the old town of Riga.
The residential building was built in 1901 as a rental house, its author - architect and technician V. Hofmanis. The architectural composition of the street facades is made in a unified Neo-Renaissance style, with slightly accentuated corner ridges.
The building is located in the protection zone of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Historical Center of Riga" and has a certain level of cultural and historical value - "building of cultural and historical value".
The project started in September 2019, and the construction work is expected to be completed in 2022. The development of the project envisages the reconstruction of the eclectic building built at the beginning of the 20th century. The Hoffmann Rezidence is a 6-storey building that will be divided into 50 cozy apartments, 3 lofts and 7 exclusive rooftop penthouses. There will be 6 private garages in the basement, and additional parking spaces will be found on the street side.
The goal of this development project is to preserve the historical value of the building while modernizing it with efficient engineering solutions. The comfortable 1-4 room apartments will have high ceilings, a view of the Daugava or the courtyard, and only a 5-minute walk from the city center.
